THE WASHINGTON BALLET - - the book, “Wonderland”
The Washington Ballet has a new book called, “Wonderland,” which captures the magic of Washington’s premiere ballet and modern dance company. TWB was created 35 years ago by Mary Day and is led today by its outstanding creative director, Septime Webre. “Wonderland” is a collaborative effort by the creative design firm, Design Army, photographer, Cade Martin and TWB dancers. They have put together a truly breathtaking collection of pictures using Washington D.C. and TWB’s studios as backdrops. The book truly captures the spirit of individual artists and the soul of their mission. You can get a copy of “Wonderland” by calling The Washington Ballet at 202-362-3606. Also check the website for this season’s schedule at www.washingtonballet.org. If you’ve never been to a performance by The Washington Ballet, make it a “to do” item this year.
